Very good point re noise at LR. Too often out sung by the sway fans. R block usually put in a good effort. Not sure about other parts of the ground.

I wanted Warburton to stay. For me he was the best Manager we've had since Warnock, and the way we fell away at the end of last season was mostly due to the serious injuries with a thin squad which was due mainly to the Finances. We've already seen the same this season - how much better we are with Willock than without him, and the same could easily happen again with a couple of injuries to key players unfortunately. Beale is looking a good Manager so far too, but way too early to say if one is better than the other or not. The early signs are that Beale is good too. I heard that the 18 points from 11 games is the same as we had last season. I'll be weĺl happy if Beale is as good as the Bread Man.

As a BCFC fan, well done on the 3 points. I think your second goal was defo offside for the cross, and 100% VAR chalks that off if we had it in the Championship. Very poor from the Lino not pick that up.

Your first was a margin call for offside against Johanssons as well, with his position when the shot was taken, admittedly that was harder to call.

As for our goal, very lucky, it’s was scruffy and took a huge deflection.

I also would have extended Warburton’s contract. Perhaps deep down I would love a long term successful manager such a Ferguson or Wenger?

However, I think that we have chosen a very good up and coming manager who is hungry and has something to prove. He also has added new ideas which seem to be working.

It is still very early and too soon to judge. In reality, we will only be able to assess him after a full season, or possibly even two.

But so far I admit that I am very impressed and pleased with Beale, and the board seems to have a very good choice with an “evolution” of managers.

I also really like MB’s interviews as he seems very open and genuine.

Listening to Beals interviews it’s so refreshing & honest compared to Warbs & no disrespect to him either,

Beale has contradicated himself a few times though. Maybe he has just changed his mind!

I am really miffed about not getting my bet up yesterday.

    QPR to win
Over two goals in the game.
Willock to score at any time

    18/1

Beginning to feel rather stupid for cashing in a bet I placed before the season started - a £50 double on Haaland to be top Prem scorer (3/1) and QPR to get top 6 (4/1). I cashed in for a small profit when Rangers started poorly

Haaland is nailed on barring injury (now 1/4) and Rangers are down to 2/1 for top 6.

To be fair there’s an awful long way to go with a pretty think squad attacking-wise. Expect some decent offers for Willock in Jan with 18 months on his contract.

You'd hope the board would resist the temptation to sell our best player if we're in with a realistic chance of promotion. How much do you reckon it would take?

The accounts are horrific though. Don’t think they could turn down £20m and risk his value deteriorating as his contract winds down. Hope I’m wrong of course.

Wishful thinking if he has the option to wind his contract down and make millions in a signing-on fee somewhere. He is free to sign a contract with a foreign club from Jan 2023 I believe.

''If he's as good as the breadman'', won't be good enough. Personally think we've a right gem on our hands

Didn't the cross for the second goal go backwards, so can't be offside? I think the pass before the cross was more marginal - is that what you mean?

Agree that Johansen was close too, but on re-watching the highlights a few times I do think he's on. Also, as it comes off the 'keeper's head after the post, would that count as a new phase of play and therefore if Johansen was on or off at the time of the shot becomes irrelevant. I've no idea on the second point - it's a genuine question - as it's all very confusing now...
