Sadly I think he’s just allowed to go shouting his mouth off wherever and whenever he likes , and I blame Horner and Marko for that .

No problem with him saying what he said , but , imho , those things should be said in private .

How many times have RBR strategists got it right , one mistake and he throws them under the bus .

He can f**k off and take his Wooden shoe wearing , coffee drinking , drug taking , flare throwing F**k Wit fans with him :emoticon-0183-swear *

    * This does not apply to all Dutch people , my Brother in law is Dutch and he’s nice .

Verstappen has come out and said it, but I was going to point out that RedBull is a very harsh/blunt environment, which goes all ways and works for them, although it has chewed up and spit out a few people (most notably drivers) in the past. In that context I have no issues with Verstappen’s actions and as a bonus from RB point of view mainstream press have something other to talk about than cost cap (not saying it was planned, just a side effect).

Yeah, must be frustrating but you don’t throw your team under the bus like that. Look at the car they have given him. And being frustrated in the heat of the moment is one thing, but he was still going on about it being “unacceptable” when he was interviewed in the pen. Firstly, he will make up places hand over fist in that car, and secondly he is under zero pressure on his way to strolling the championship so it hardly raises the stakes or puts that in jeopardy. Frustrating, maybe and mistakes were made but a total lack of grace and team playing. Other drivers have been let down worse by their teams this season, repeatedly, and still acted with more grace.

It's no where near ferrari levels of politics and frankly verstappens big foul mouth on radio is ridiculous.

Imo f1 should start applying points deductions to stop him holding the radio button down fing and blinding.

    Rain looks fun

There's going to be massive amounts of wall action.

Yeah looks like it’s going to be action packed.

Any idea how well the track dries in terms of time?

Is it likely a wet weather tyre start or would half an hour of no rain get it towards inters, for example?

    It doesn't.

    Yesterday it never really did.

This is massive rain and I am actually now thinking they'll be lucky to actually get 16 laps in to get 25% points.

It looks to me like absolutely full wets and I am now thinking the ulta cautious safety car start is coming.

I just cannot see this being fun and games for a while. I have a feeling the 3 hours is going to start and they'll trundle behind safety car and have ice cold cars.

Judging by Saturdays practice and quali it does seem to take quite a while to dry and 2 corners 8 and 14 I think were the only ones still wet in quali. Then again there will be more cars running to clear the water.

    Will there be?

Last year was disgraceful where it took hours at Spa to get a car to drive out and about.

I can't see them letting cars go out here right now.

Does look lots of standing water. They need cars to follow safety car to clear the water then do proper grid start

That's the only way to do it bar driving sweeping trucks around to mop up water and they are not doing that so it's moot.

It looks 50% fine and some really poor areas thst won't drain til cars push it off.

    Sweeping up old school style.

If they have enough folks work away but don't take all night.

If we are treated to a national anthem and **** like that then 50% race that'll be prime fia

Highly probable there will be a crash in first few laps, if there is a safety car then all the cars going round at a safe speed may help clear the track a little. Just hope no one gets hurt.

We are seeing a very slow process here. They are taking no risks and cars will be on inters at start. Likely to do formation lap and find a safery car in front of them for rolling start and then 5 laps min under safety.

We are already headed for timed out race 2hours limit and its likely we might not make 75% race distance.

I think due to giving 1hrs notice to the race start and following standard grid procedures we won't have time for the full number of laps!
I think the race must end at 16:05 UK time!
Hopefully it will be over 75% distance.

no they shouldn't deduct points for that, it's got nothing to do with the race. They should, however, kick RBR out of both championships and strip him of his 21 WDC if they have gone over 5% budget cap.

With the likes of Latifi and Stroll, actual racing laps might be limited behind many SC!

Sounds like the 3 hr race slot didn't actually start and will start at 14:05 UK time. So we still have 3 hrs to get the 2 hr race in! Obviously once they actually start the race then it's 2 hrs max - so with a wet track we will have a few crashes - hopefully everyone will be fine.

How annoying has the Tanoy system been this week- it’s totally ruined a couple of TV broadcast interviews and sections this weekend <laugh>

Felipe Mass adamant inters are the tyre. I think for time it has to be, but obviously treading carefully to through specific turns.
