A number of replies only have slightly different results, but the positive thing is that nearly all add up to at least 20Pts. IMO, if we have 20Pts after 19 games and can purchase a few quality additions in Jan, then we will be just fine.
Without stating the obvious we need as many points as possible as quickly as possible. We must have one of the most differcult run-ins to the end of the season and staying up In the last 10 games we play what will be the top 6 teams, Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal & Man City away on the last day - would not want to go there needing a result to stay up!
I fancy us more home against City who may not take us as quite as serious as they should, than against Stoke who are going to be a real test for our not huge defence. I think we meet them after the international break, and after a week without EuroCup games for them, and they are beginning to need points too to keep away from the big battle at the bottom of the PL. Dunno quite why I'm coming over for Stoke and not City - bad planning!
On record next 8 games 15 points Come on Rangers Tip : some things look wrong on paper Next time you have a crap invest the time to have a look ... It's not art Let's go off road Enjoy your life

Guys, i'm going to print this thread and then produce the results before year end, just to see how we got on with our predictions. Interesting to note that everybody has us getting at least 8Pts between now and our 19th game. That would give us min 20Pts and put us in a good position going forward in the new year with Defoe, Bassong, Ridgewell all coming in etc etc etc etc etc etc LOL. Nearly every promoted team has gone on a bad run of defeats during their first season yet nobody has predicted that for us up to the half way stage. Thats very positive from us the fans and shows that we do believe we are strong and robust enough to stay up. My fear is between now and xmas, and that we are very very paper thin as regards quality and quantity. We will not be able to handle any serious injuries or suspensions and players like Ferdinand, Young, Barton, Faurlin, SWP, Bootsy just cant get injured
Should think you have mate! Wildly optimistic!! I'm going for this: Man City(H) - 0 Stoke(A) - 0 Norwich(A) - 1 West Brom(H) - 3 Liverpool(A) - 0 Man Utd(H) - 0 Sunderland(H)- 3 Swansea(A) - 0 7pts...which will give us 19pts. Just about on track, but not great!!
Leaving out Sunderland and West Brom, that's just one point from the other six games! I have £100 says you're wrong there. Care for it?
