Finished it, was better than I expected but didn’t really get the ending. I thought they all wanted the ring to have power and rule the world, not that when the ring was destroyed the eye thing would die and the orcs would just leave aswell.

    5.6/10 overall

I can’t think of any American show or film I’ve ever found funny as an adult. I do like Louis CK stand up though.

His ****ing argument with a woman on some chatshow iirc was funny as fck. When he ends by saying, I'm going to go home, knock one out while I picture you naked and there's not a damn thing you can do about it <laugh>

There are some classic american comedy films - Planes Trains springs to mind. But comedy programmes I think they're second rate compared to UK comedy. Curb Your Enthusiasm is probably the only one I find genuinely laugh out loud funny.

I think you'd love it. Takes the first series to get going, but by the second it's sheer genius. It's on a level with The Office imo.

    Yeh UK.

It's awkward/cringe comedy, but more adult rated, no limits on where he takes it, so no holds barred.

Watched the new Thor last night - 6.8

Much better than the Dr Strange one I watched the other night. Sappy storyline but decent humour and fight scenes. The Goats steal the show.

    Bullet Train.

I think others rated it around 7.5 I'd agree with that. It's alright, worth a watch but not great.

    The cameos are good.

Yes. Peaky Blinders bloke did it. Interesting but where's the 2nd series?

With that cast I reckon it's done. No way they all come back for a long term project.
