As it seems more and more likley Lee Clarke is leaving Hudds to take over at Leicester, what does everyone think?

Good step up after proving himself at lower leagues or should he have stuck it out at Huddersfield and worked his way up?

With Leicester's manergerial track record I fear this could ruin his progression. On the other hand it would show if he can handle pressure and a little bit of money to spend. Next step towards the Newcastle job?

Tough call for me. Has led Huddersfield to an unbelievable unbeaten run and looks like he could take them up this year. If he goes to Leicester and doesn't succeed then he'll be back to square one. Has to make the step up at some point though I suppose.

There is always the worry that if he stuck it out at Huddersfield and missed out on promotion again he could find himself struggling to get the chance to prove himself at a higer level.

A bit gutted really as I've never really liked Leicester but now I'll have to start watching out for their results. (As well as Birmingham who I also didn't like before Chrissy).

Think he could probably have stuck it out with Huddersfield, especially given the state of Leicester's managerial record - as you say. Anyway, want him to manage us one day in the future, assuming Pardew isn't the next Alex Ferguson that is.

I personally think he'd be best to stay at Hudd, has a team who want to play for him and have an amazing unbeaten run.
Very good chance they will go up and then will be mixing it in the champoinship anyways, where I can see Leicester still being next season.
Also as previously mentioned their record for replacing managers has to be as bad if not worse than ours!!

I'd hope he stays at Huddersfield and finishes this season by taking them up.

Leicester are far too trigger happy with managers.

He should stay at Huddersfield. I think they will walk the league this year and are quite wealthy and ambitious so could do a Norwich if they went up

He splits the Huddersfield fans down the middle even now when they're in the 2nd...Whether that is due to them being dicks or what I don't know, but there's gotta be a reason for it!?!?

I think they are just getting a bit restless at being so close and missing out every year. Feel he's taken them as far as he could and need someone new to push them over the line.

A lot of them haven't forgiven him for the play off final when he played Bruce-like tactics and left Rhodes out.

Should definitely stay at Huddersfield. He's doing a great job, and i think he'll get them promoted this season.

He will get Huddersfield promoted, but I have Leicester on my season long bet so I need him to go there to earn me some brass!

He's doing a good job where he is, Leicester's owners are nutters. I can imagine him getting the sack if he didn't take them up so for now he should stay where he is and win over 100% of Huddersfield fans.

Oh and invisible rep to jimileysbaldhead. <ok>

I'd prefer Clark to see this season through at Huddersfield. But he'll get money to spend in Jan at Leicester, and they already have a strong squad of players. Could easy get into the play offs and promotion.

Just came through on BBC that Lee Clark has said he has no interest in leaving Huddersfield for Leicester.

Tough one. He has done a fantastic job there but doesn't get the love he deserves. I think if I'd done for them what he has, and still wasn't getting any credit from the fans, I'd be maybe a little miffed. On the flipside the offer he has is laden with problems. Leicester are a cracking club don't get me wrong. But the owners are as trigger happy as they come, and he risks setting his career back by going there and not getting a fair crack. His head should be telling him to stay where he is and wait for the right one to come along. But his heart will be convincing him he can overcome the problems there, make a success of it and move up the ladder. Its a big gamble to go to Leicester but the rewards are great if he does and succeeds.
