Actually results is only what matters if you are the players or managers. We go to be entertained and thats happening much more this year. We want to win but if it was playing ultra-defensively and sneaking a goal after 20% possession then I would rather have 1 win in 8 with lots of possession and chances. Much easier to turn latter into wins, particularly with Wilson back.
Wilson will be Injured again in no time, max will get injuries and the sqaud isn't equipped yet to climb the table over a full season.. Newcastle have a good 11, but it's a fantasy 11 we'll possibly never see. This idea newcastle can finish top 8 has lead people to forget there's still a large number of inadequate players that will be replied upon.
This is a fair point. We are playing much better. I agree with that. And a couple of wins makes things look rosy. But a couple of losses and it looks grim.

Depends I mean this time last year newcastle battered Watford and drew and they weren't happy. Under Howe it wasn't until they spent money things really got going. The way Newcastle are playing hasn't been great since the injuries... It's been huff and puff the last 3 games because Howe doesn't have the players... It's been largely a the same ****e Bruce had.
Nobody has said Howe out, but if he doesn't get a win in the next month it'll bring the bullying Bruce back into question. The full picture will be interesting. Let's hope Newcastle win a few or the media will be highlighting it that's for sure.
The possession numbers have changed dramatically though. We are dominating games now without scoring. Under Bruce we never got much over 35%. At least now its down to not taking chances rather than not creating any. Much better to watch and easier on the old heart. We have had a few VAR decisions go against us. Beginning of last season the VAR guys could get and get coffee when we had the ball as we never got it close to their goal.
