They didn't put an offer in did they? So nothing on table to choose between.

However werner was 24 when signed.

Barkley was in trouble with the wrong type of people in Liverpool. He was 25 when joining.

Yes pulisic was only interested in cash and shafting dortmund and yes havertz took the biggest cash prize he could at a young age.

There's several other German player like brant etc who ****ed their careers moving as well.

It still doesn't change the choice of 40mil more on the table if chelsea turn up with 350k a week compared to 200k.

Man City wanted him, were willing to match the transfer figure and probably offered more money too but he wanted to play for Liverpool / Klopp and he wanted to earn the medals.

The right reasons will be different in each individual case. In this one, you're 19 years old, you have self belief and confidence, (without being cocky) in your skills and abilities so you're not in a rush to get to the very top of earnings too soon, you know it will come. You want to play for the very best manager who sees you as a person as well as a player. So man city then... under pep guardiola where you'll play with de bruyne, silva ,gundogan and of course the likes of Rodriguez behind and foden as well.

You get all of what you said above bar "fans" but get 40mil extra over 5 years and virtually assured of 4x the medals

Why if they offer everything else as well?

What do you think Liverpool can offer that maybe richer clubs can't and if we push that further, what can other teams offer a young player that Dortmund can't.

2 seasons ago they were cl winners and last season they were beaten on pens in 2 Cup finals so..... pretty sure their mad ways with money has not stopped them contending.

How Leagues have they won in the last 10 years?

You are asking stupid questions to try and justify your reason for thinking Liverpool is the bast club for the lad.

Not sure why i have got myself involved with this, i don't even rate him that highly <laugh>

I certainly haven't said Liverpool is.
