All you need is a family member who owns a villa in Spain then get a out of season flight, get picked up at the airport…. 28quid either way… boom
People have mobility issues, anxiety issues, small children in tow, etc. there are loads of reasons why wanting to parking near the ground is a reasonable requirement.
Its was really touch & go for him getting there for the game after finishing work & then school pickup anyway, even if we had met in the car park (i would have his ticket) but as he doesn't know Hull roads at all, other options aren't really on. First I have seen about Park & Ride times for the fair but they start 9th October
He is also visiting to celebrate his birthday with us and another friend coming from some distance, I decided to give this game a miss and see him.
I travel over an hour to each home game... usually end up pissed off at the result on the way home but still, not hard to make a little bit of effort to get there. Don't park in the car park either, each to there own though (isn't meant as a dig to the original poster about the car park btw).
I live in Brid so it's an hour's drive each way. Have used train to games in the past but last train is about 10.15 so not do-able on a night game. Originally Luton on Saturday was fine for everybody but what with Sky & Hull Fair it's a problem. I could drive and park up the road and walk to the game (with knackered knee) but then I wouldn't see the family. My choice.
I don’t get Saturday‘a off from work on a regular basis, but I was off last Saturday, ****ing international break, then I checked our fixtures & boom, home game, then saw it’s been ducking moved. FFS!
I'd certainly hope that disabled supporters can still use their usual spots, which I think is the south stand car park.

I see the HDM, which some think does a marvellous job, has finally managed to squeeze a mention of the fact we have a game tomorrow, though it doesn’t mention it in the headline,in between the reams of stuff about RL. https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/
In fairness the paper edition nearly always carries articles about City, today it's two and a half pages of padding out.
People not from Hull see what are the main stories on their website and form their impressions from that. How many multi billionaires were considering buying a football club, were advised to take a look at Hull City but forgot the idea after deciding there was little interest in City or football in Hull and rugby league was the main thing after reading the HDM online?
Have you not found the menu on the top left of the screen? It means you can go straight to hull city news without wading through eggchasing tripe. You might even notice an article posted very soon after the final whistle promoting the fact that Pelkas scored for Greece during the international break, and another the next day also - obviously from previous comments you missed them.
