Thought she’d do local radio because she might get an easy ride, but it turns out a lot of those local presenters are neither mugs nor Tory shills.

 

Wetherspoons do this quite regularly, and have done for several years, and certainly before Brexit.

You'd best tell the people that bought the one near us a few years back. It was part of a wider programme of restructuring. From memory there were a dozen or more, and it seemed to focus on ones they owned rather than rented/leased.

To be fair he’s probably quite an expert on Wetherspoons… with his table for one with views of the toilets

 

A quick google suggests that my memory isn't too bad.

Council's green plan hailed by Keir Starmer at Labour conference costs £60,000 per home



The Opposition Leader praised a Labour council’s green energy housing scheme to cut fuel bills in his conference speech – but failed to mention the eye-watering cost.

He said the pilot project to retrofit eight council houses in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, with the latest energy-saving insulation and fittings had saved residents ‘over a grand’ on their winter fuel bill.

But retrofitting each house cost around £60,000. It means doing the same for the nation’s 1.6million council houses would cost £96billion.

I stopped at a Wetherspoons recently had a pint of Ghost ship for £2.20,in an Admans pub that brew the stuff it's going to be double that maybe more than triple in other pubs which most are chains now.

Never understood the obsurd snobbery over Spoons but it fits in with the Europhiles fake socialist ideals , who would rather pay £7 a pint and kill off the pubs that the proletariat use, because they voted the wrong way in 2016..
