I understood she just got pissed with producers and record companies and the seedy business that a young woman had to face to make records. A great talent that we have all missed out on.
A couple of years ago I picked up her first and second albums at a car bootie for £4, her 1st album Ode to Billie Joe the cover was toast and the record had seen better days but the 2nd was good condition when I played it I could hear why , nowhere as good as the 1st
