Angie isn’t a leader, and Truss has done more damage in a fortnight, or whatever it is, than most of the others did in the entirety of their reign.

Exaggeration is unlike you, Truss does not reign and you are quite right, Angie is not a leader, she is number 2 in your party.

UNFORTUNATELY we are in a never before seen, not even close " perfect storm "
When you disassociate yourself from any party and do a Wellington on all the things that are in your head there is a picture that is very frightening!
when you start to research parts of either side of your list, to up date it or confirm it .............. it becomes even more so.

one point, whilst I had the SNP down as a non conformist to working toward a common cause, and without gratitude to what they recieve as opposed to what they earn ... sir KS has them bottled! and he is very much correct .. they will never help the uk out of this as their focus is only on self rule .........

Exaggeration is not like you, it’s not MY party. I used reign not in the literal sense, I just couldn’t think of another term to use.,

That is a good response, you are an independently minded person, I have the same frame of mind, I don't carry a brand and enjoy being individual.

Which is incredibly rich coming from a woman of colour herself who has previously been accused of anti-semitism !
Lammy refused to answer question on it of course, but it's still ok for Rayner to say all Tories are scum.
Labour have a lot of very unpleasant people in their ranks.

Also laughable that she criticised Kwateng having such a privileged and private education, yet she herself went to a fee paying school.
And then there's good old Jezza Corbyn, Palestine and Russia's best friend, who's been seen playing a video game where Margaret Thatcher is killed. Vile

But have you seen the male teacher in Canada who identifies as a woman sporting the biggest fake breasts I've ever seen, teaching woodwork to teenagers ?
How 'it's' not been shot or attacked by irate parents looking for retribution is beyond me.

Labour will inherit a UK economy that is in a "complete mess" if it comes to power at the next general election, Sir Keir Starmer has said.

This would be an entirely new experience for Labour as over the last 2 or 3 changes of governance the boot has been on the other foot!
It seems so simple to be the opposition party ... everything you promise whether attainable or not what the masses want to hear is either the opposite of now or a long and trusted opposition route to failure....

    • Reversing the government's decision not to rise corporation tax, as it had previously pledged to do
    • Cancelling the axeing of the 45% tax rate for the highest earners
    • Introducing a windfall tax on energy companies
    • Changing the non-domicile status that currently allows a person who was born in another country but lives in the UK to only pay tax on their income in the country [ birth citizenship... not completed in BBC text ]
amazing really sounds like powerful statements that solve all the problems [ like the debt incurred for Covid ] and now the debt on Putrids war ... figures are miniscule compared to the actual sums needed.. ...

... bit like booking fortnights family of 6 holiday [includes a couple grandparents ] cost is £15k and deposit paid means £10k owed ........... lose your job ... cat needs vet [no insurance ] car engine blows up ... and some do gooder comes along and says here's £500 toward your cats bill .... [ not the best comparison ]

Vine programme .... nearly always gets to the nitty gritty ..more so than the preselected audiences of the TV shows.

Today some very in depth home truth's. We have been here before one train of thought followed.
High mortgage rates, council tax rates, falling pound financial crisis and the trend was ........... "the .gov of the time didnt jump in with both feet and bail people out, back then we just got on and sorted it " Consensus is now we are a nation of softies that want a cushy life without pain and are becoming less able to do it, sort it battle through it because we have been brought up in an age that has pandered to our needs.
the strongest survive .. evolution .. not now ... people want new this that and the other when old not exactly worn out ... etc check charity shops/ local tip/ or even a lane near you!!!! [ some charity shops have so much stock they have to throw it away or refuse it ... or turn it into refuse! collected weekly by the bin men!
OF COURSE some people are richer than others they WORK towards being so
With 5 or so redundancies I have never been out of work for more than about 3months [in 1981] and since then maybe a month max selecting my next job. Something like 3million + currently on the take? that will be a lifetime of dissapointment as when they get 67, or whatever retirement age is, it is a big financial shock for these people.... they get less ...

SO WHAT some are richer? they [ mostly ] have strived to be so, working full time doing overtime being inventive good luck to them... one day the food banks will stop, supply will diminish because money has been spent on the lazy to survive and prices will rise as stocks get lower. The "goodwill factor" fades and people donate less and less ... person I know works in supermarket and donations are now less, % wise pet foods are on increase! , goto a food bank and see for yourself better stocked than the hard working corner shop working 24/7 and its free .........
