Let's hope he has a lot more confidence, as the Leeds game must have really hurt. He has to be able to work with the back four. (And they with him)

It is certainly going to be a tough game for him to come into, I'm hoping that he will come in with a point to prove, think with it been his first game back (assuming Basso doesn't make it) there is bound to be a couple of nervous moments but hope our back four can ride them out and they grow in confidence together

Let's hope Seamus McDonagh has done some work with him.

Think I'll wait for the FB updates, as they at least are reported with authority and accuracy.

Just our bloody luck that the game Gulasci has to come back in for, is the one against West Ham. <doh>

It will be interesting to see what team he puts out on Saturday. I hope they've covered a few things in training today as well as they were far too open at Oakwell. Reckon a case of complacency set in on Tuesday. Back to basic solid defending against West Ham, I think.

    Gulasci

    Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dudgeon

    Brady Koren McKenna Evans

    McLean Fryatt

with Foghorn coming off the bench after 65 mins.

We might have to get used to it. If Basso's knee is bad enough, he may need surgery.......!!!

Well if he needs surgery, top of the priority list in January is a permanent golaie.

Has Mannone broken into the first team squad yet????

give the lad a chance for christs sake. ya sounding like those neg heads on tuesdays blunderside sports programme.

he might have a blinder and he will for sure want to prove a point. all goalkeepers have nightmares. the lastest one was paul rachubka @ tws last night. oh yes, one more for the sick room.....namely Simon Grayson. lol.

It wasn't being negative about Galusci per se, I was just pointing out that he had a complete ****ing mare in his last game, now when he has to come back in, it's against West Ham. It's rather a baptism of fire(again).

YES. he has had a few subs bench appearances but i suspect that he would be allowed to go out on loan again.

if we need a keeper in Jan then make an offer for Jim Steele. How that gk is not @ a PL club now is beyond me.

i would take him above half of the PL goalies at the moment.

He's been on the bench for one Carling Cup game, he should definitely get a loan, he's still fourth choice at Arsenal and he's not going to get a game for them.

The problem with Gulasci, as I see it, is that he has flaws in his basic technique rather than it being a question of confidence or experience.

very true. but time has moved on since his last game and the team are doing much much better. the back 4 are the best around and that should also help him. this could be the perfect game to play him in as its a show peace game and one that he will be up for. as far as i am concerned the slate is clean and he starts a fresh if he plays. those early games have faded away for me.

It's been a while since I've seen one of our keepers so ill at ease at jumping to catch crosses.
