Morning all - Dull but mild day in West West London. Busy day ahead, so not likely to be surfing until tonight....

Morning All, It stayed warm overnight which suits me fine as the heating stays off.

A trip to Poitiers today as Mme has found somewhere that sells spares for her sewing machine.

Lunch out and a trip around some DIY stores to plan my next job. Looks as if what I save on heating costs will be spent elsewhere.

Evening all. At last I have time to breathe since getting back.

Just before we left we got rear-ended by some guy with no insurance (for some reason it is legal to drive with no insurence here). I picked the car up today after repairs worth about GBP3500. The hassle getting to work has been a pain.

At work all I've been doing is marking exams, which can be depressing, and is certainly the most boring part of the job.

To answer your question from the match thread, BB; Brisbane was great. My landscape architect wife found the South Bank very interesting. My son found the pools and water features wonderful. I was puzzled by the fact that I heard very few Australian accents in Brisbane. Most of the workers I spoke to were Scottish. The protestant sales person from Motherwell didn't give a toss about sectarian Scottish football but he cared about the Brisbane Roar.

One of the nice surprises for me was going to a pub on Monday night and quite by chance seeing the goals from the Peterborough game. Before I got back to work we beat Brighton too. So - I am prepared to give up work in order to continue our winning run provided I get paid. If watford fans are each prepared to donate 25p a game for the rest of the season I will give up work and we will get promoted. Alternatively away fans could be charged an extra GBP2.50 each which should come to the same total.

One other thing I have learnt is that I shouldn't post after a few wines.

Sæll til allra. Coffee, tea donuts and fruit are on the bar.

Today I will not make all your drinks but put a large bowl of glögg, it is not Hallowe'en or Christmas but I thought of doing something different. Even the young ones can have a mug, remember not to drink too much.

What do you want to know Norway? The place we are off to not only sells spares for sewing machines but is also a museum of old ones.

I can give you the address if you need to pop down and have a look. <laugh>

Not going to get much time on here today, so here goes......

I've got a similar feeling and gone with 4-2 in the WPL this week.

Brilliant programme, loved the thieving penguin last night. <laugh>

    I'll take a crate please Frenchie. <ok>

Hope she make a full and speedy recovery Yorkie. Maybe a win at the weekend will raise her spirits even further.

Best time to move on...if you can beat your instructor it's time to find a new one. :emoticon-0170-ninja

Right...think that's everything, back to work.

Thanks mate, just had a very strange experience, whilst doing the shopping in Tesco's I picked a bottle of what I thought was pear drop flavoured lemonade. I thought what a blast from the past, I got home started unpacking came across the bottle and thought ooh thirsty let's have a swig, anyway I thought that's a bit flat damn only to read the bottle label properly to discover I has just swigged undiluted squash<yikes> RTFL Al<laugh> not nice, see Al rush to tap to drink some water to dilute the squash in his stomach <laugh>
