22 goals in 47 games so far, not sure if they were even all starts. 2/3 this season 8/18 last season 12/26 season before that. So almost 1/2. If he was fit for a full season, he'd probably be scoring 15-20 goals, give or take.
He's no good with his feet.... Hes OK but he's no international... Newcastle need a better keeper in a year or two. Seems a bit goofy
Has to be said that the injury’s are piling up and they all seem to be our best players. Weird. ASM Bruno Wilson Isak our best 4 players all technically injured or returning. Yet the rest of the dross is fit as hell.
Quite right. It was a selection to go out and not lose. There’s a different mentality needed to win the top sides. He hasn’t got it. He is to scared to lose.
I've been hearing the old 'it had to happen to us' nonsense again. The thing is injuries happen at all clubs and sadly Newcastle haven't had time to address the depth of squad issues. Injuries will continue to happen it's not a temporary issue. It'll be next season and the one after before Newcastle have a good enough squad to start competing over 38 games plus. The fans predicting top 8 will perhaps begin to register this.
He's been the reason Newcastle have kept so many goals out though. His distribution/kicking is not great but his shot stopping and general goal keeping is great.
