Syd time to let someone else run this board mate you've done well in the past but it's time to let someone with fresh ideas do it. Don't all slag me off it's just my opinion. I think a few people on here are sick of syd.

 

Either I’ve taken the bait for the best wum or you’re the most unappreciative person out there to put it politely

Syd has annoyed me in the past with certain things like mag free threads and deleting all our Halloween posts. I think he hasn't quite grasped the idea of an open forum and that on an open forum, fans will wind up their rivals whenever they are achieving massively more than them. However for you to be so ungrateful of the time Syd puts in is a disgrace, no one will ever make everyone happy, and I know very few would put as much time into it as Syd does. Who would you prefer, Incestria?

You may be surprised to know I am thinking the same myself, the OP that is. A few things that get me annoyed are the way I get **** for things that are not my fault, many deletes and bans, in fact most, are me carrying out requests from mods, users or both.

You seem to think I spend my time on here all day but every day is a new load of ****, last night Leeds lost by 5 goals, all hell breaks out on the Leeds board and on it goes.

Truth is the fun has long gone from here and the **** I get is taking its toll, not sure its all worth it any more. This post, I'm sure a WUM and a bit of fun from someone but just one more bit of **** to take.

BTW I do understand all about open forums, not sure everyone understands moderation and responsibity. Funny how many PM's I have had about a cross board poll that is on this open forum and pissing a lot, Sunderland and Newcastle, off.

I'm sure the vast majority of people on here are well aware of the time and effort you have put into this site. I couldn't do it.
That said mate, you really have to think of yourself. If as you say the fun has gone maybe it is time to move on, for your own sake.

 

Syd. Don't pack it in kidda if you still enjoy it but if your sick of it, then that's your decision.

I never PM the mods to complain but far too many take this internet forum far too seriously. There are lots who don't but too many love to dish it out without the capacity to take it back.

Your well respected on here by Sunderland posters mate, even if we don't always agree, so don't get disheartened.

Syd has done an excellent job on here and I hope he keeps on doing it (lotta love out there for you syd marra!!)

 

Syd you are doing an excellent job, therefore it is inevitable that you need to develop a relatively think carapace as unfortunately, like the OP demonstrates, their are plenty idiots/keyboard warriors/juveniles out there.

I can't fathom out how anyone could write this considering the amount of 'unpaid' time and effort Syd has dedicated to this site...If Syd does decide to give it up because of his own personal reasons, then in my opinion it would be a huge blow to not606.
