    The whole thing is a farce. It's there 'cos of bribes and everyone knows that. Well over 2,000 foreign labourers have died, apparently, and the ones that survived were really slaves who slept and ate on the sites.
    The whole virtue signalling world knew about it and all of the media know that gays are thrown off tall buildings or hanged from cranes, and women are 2nd class citizens, but that's ok, eh !

    It should never be held there . . . . it's ****ed up this season, and this competition, like the olympics, is supposed to be about legacy. These stadiums may well be demolished when it's over 'cos there are not enough people or players to use them.

    The word is...Some of these stadiums have been built in such a way that they will be dismantled and sent to other countries who have already bought them. But this highlights your point...Its ridiculous Qatar were given the rites to host this event. They have no history, there will be no legacy for there or in the region. Its a corrupt decision and should have been investigated at the highest level

    There is something a bit odd here. The sporting director, who was supposedly sacked before out game with them, is now back (from holiday!), and the coach goes.

    5 managers in a year this will be apparently. He was ill advised to take that job. Who would be a coach these days...
