No more of this garbage please. Simons not up to the job. Move on please before you do serious damage to our club. Im sick of the excuses
Disagree. He's had no money, you've got a dodgy chairman and you're still, despite tonight, at the right end of the table. However, after the hammering on Sunday coming, all will be different, lol.
Unless there's a serious change in direction at the top of the club, things will only get worse if Grayson's sacked. The club needs consistency after years of turbulence, and SG's the man to give us that. That said, the change in backroom staff and a new fitness regime would be very welcome. Hope Grayson pushes for that.
The last thing you want with your inconsistency is to come in this game against a Leeds that just got hammered 5-0 at home. Last time we got a hammering like that at home we went on a 12 game unbeaten run starting with a 4-1 away win.
What memories? Four defeats in a row, without scoring, in League 1? Losing 5-1 away at Barnsley? Losing 4-0 at home to Cardiff? Being 4-1 up against Preston and losing 6-4? Two second half season collapses? bluememe, even losing 5-0 ay home hasn't woken them up. They're worse than ever. It's amazing!
how bout beating bristol rovers 2-1 with a man down and a goal down. How about beating burnley after being 2 goals down. The amount of times we have smashed teams out of the park, there has been a hell of alot of good memories with grayson and i hope there will be more to come
Out When you are 5-0 down at home and fans are still singing there only one simon Grayson. And still saying rubbish on here about how it is not his fault. If we get rid now we can still save the season. We have the players to go up this year!!!!! We just need the manager!!!
Hmm, not quite the same though eh Ristac ? Old Red Nose has been quite successful over the years by all accounts.
My point is aimed at the fact a 5-0 thrashing is no reason to get the chop. Success is relevant to what you have and what is the most you can expect to achieve. If you hear any so called expert or ex player or manager talking on TV when interviewed they all say the same; Leeds and Grayson exceeded expectations last season. He got us promoted, we have had some nice cup runs we just missed out on the playoffs, as a supporter we want more but as Leeds-18 rightly points out, unless there is change at the top things are never going to get much better. Grayson does have his faults, most managers do, Howard Wilkinson got us promoted won us a title then went and got himself the sack after a few dodgy transfers and results. I am not Graysons biggest fan, if he walked tomorrow I would not be upset (unless we got Sven in his place). I do think he is right for the job at the moment, it drives me mad the situation with the defence and with Grayson in charge we are still as likely to beat Leicester on Saturday 3-2 as we are likely to lose 4-0 My dream would be for someone to invest and take control of the club and make some cash available, see what Grayson does with it and how we get on. If with some money to buy new players we don't make the step up then sure, show him the door. Getting rid of Grayson now? What manager would we attract? I have asked this question before; for all those calling for Graysons head who would you like to see in charge and let us be realistic, taking charge of a club with a tyrant of a chairman who has proven how poor his contract negotiations are, who thinks nothing of selling players but doesn't like dipping his hand in his pocket.
Totally agree Ristrac if I were Simon I would tell BATES back me or sack me I am sick to death of complains about my signings give me some money to buy decent players or I go to Huddersfield and work for a proper owner!
Wickersley, trust you to lower the tone of the day by referring to success enjoyed across the Pennines. & there was I starting to cheer up a bit!!! Heyho. But as others have pointed out, now is most certainly not the right time to be sacking the Manager. We still remain only 3pts off 4th place. A decent performance, & if we can get it a win, on Sunday will go a long way to repairing the damage of last night's game. It will also show that the players have got some spine & guts.
Ha ha ! Sorry Boggers, I certainly don't make a habit of bigging up the scum. I just don't think that comparing a 5-0 defeat to shoestring Blackpool can be compared to Man Ure's, let's face it, extremely rare thrashing to the richest club in the world. But I will just go and wash my mouth out.
