Well let's not be hasty, he's not getting it "all" wrong. He has believed his own "water into wine" hype a bit too much and, eventually, will have much better players at his disposal. In the meantime he needs to be more adaptable - but even then, it might be tough to win matches with this calibre of player.
I actually think Burn is a better defender than Botman. Botman’s passing is good but he is very slow and positionally not that good. Would rather continue with Schar and Burn for now.
All about opinions. If you are correct, I'd question the sense in paying £35m for an understudy to Burn. That seems backwards. Burn surprised me last season as he was way better than expected. Time has wore on and his mistakes have become more damaging, he's kind of exactly the level I'd expect from a veteran PL defender who spent most of his time as a stand-in. The thing that always surprises me most about Burn is how ineffective he is in the air for a 6'7 bloke. I'd take Botman all day every day, twice on Sundays.
I watched him play when he was in France and he looked slow there as well. Its maybe just that Burn has a lot more experience and so is positionally better. Hopefully once he settles down in PL he will start to show a lot more. To be honest I didn't really rate Isaak either - he certainly isn't a finisher like Wilson. I would definitely pick Wilson ahead of him whenever he is fit, but think he could do well playing in a slightly wider role supporting Wilson.
Dan burn is doing too much and gets caught out.. He's a decent enough cb but he's become over bearing and has made a few mistakes. His passing is slower than longstaff runs and that's saying something. Newcastle need to move the ball quicker, but ultimately the issue isn't at cb really is is?

I didn't say it was inaccurate. I said it was irrelevant. As thay don't play every week. You said we wouldn't win games IF those 4 played EVERY week. Well, as they don't play every week your point is irrelevant. It's okay I'm just in one of those moods today.
