Started off at Leyton Orient didn't he? Maybe that's where he should go to now. Had a chance and didn't take it. Not too many top managers will want him in their team.

It's a shame because he did make an impact off the bench a few times. The 3 - 1 at home to Liverpool and the 4 - 4 with Arsenal are good examples of this. But Pardew must see something off the pitch that we didn't know about which was stopping him getting a proper chance.

We're doing quite nicely without him, and that's his third strike for me, so he can **** off.

He was with the Palace academy, but left for Southampton. He was inside for a while when he was at Southampton and apparently got the boot from them for stealing kit and giving it to his mates. Dennis Wise brought him up here and he'd kept his head down, but a leopard never changes its spots it seems.

Should have known Wise would have been behind it.

Can't really blame Wise. Ranger was a free signing with a ton of talent and potential (which he may still have). If he'd faced stronger discipline from the club during his time here maybe he would have sorted out his mentality. I'm not trying to shift the blame from Ranger onto the club or anyone else though, it's entirely his fault.

If you still are going to blame Wise, you also need to blame Shearer - He saw enough in him to give him a longer contract.

Hughton was the one who gave him his current 5 year deal.

he has, dropped from the first team squad to the reserves, fined, everything you can think of we have done to discipline this fool and still he doesn't learn

edit: you're really talking about something you don't know a lot about we have shipped all the trouble out of the club he's the last one despite numerous chances and disciplinary action

Something has to be done about him by the club and fast. If they get rid of Barton because of his twitter this is bringing the club more bad press that he did

It's got a better ring to it than "Hugely unpopular Newcastle peripheral figure"...

He needs a family of Ameobis to support him and put him on the right track.

If he lived in Shola's dad's house this **** would never have been allowed to go down.

It's a shame if he goes, how the hell are NUFC going to survive without at least ONE bellend in the squad?

I thought that was our 'thing'. :(

JJ'll happily take his spot in the squad.

Jog on Ranger, I defended your ability to miss every chance on goal you had last season, but I won't defend your dumbass criminal habits.

Doubt he can aim as high as West Ham for his next club but I suppose you never know . . .
