Not writing him off at all or suggesting he’s ****e. However he didn’t have Bamford ahead of him last season as was knackered all season
Gelhardt did little in my eyes to show improvement. Still trying to run through defenders like it's u21s standard. There is a player there but not sure if he is ever going to be prem standard. Perkins is the better finisher so let's see how it goes. I am fully expecting Bamford to break down again. His appearance record is awful. While i am at it i don't rate Greenwood either.
Football-related arrests in England, Wales at eight-year high — Home Office please log in to view this image By Omar Garrick Football-related arrests and incidents of disorder in England and Wales have reached their highest level in eight years, according to UK Home Office figures. According to the data, there were 2,198 football-related arrests in the 2021-22 season — the highest number since the 2013-14 campaign. That figure is also up by 60 per cent compared with the last full season before the COVID-19 pandemic (2018-19). The government data revealed that West Ham United had the highest number of arrests per club with 95, followed by Manchester City (76), Manchester United (72), Leicester City (59) and Everton (58). There were also 441 pitch invasions reported last season — up by 127 per cent on the 2018-19 campaign. The figures also showed a rise in the number of arrests at national team and international matches, with 38 being made last season compared to 18 in 2018-19. On Wednesday the Premier League announced the introduction of a minimum one-year ban from home and away matches for any fan guilty of entering the pitch or carrying or using pyrotechnics. The Home Office data comes after Tottenham Hotspur defender Eric Dier admitted that he feels “too uncomfortable” with his family attending away games. “It (fan behaviour) has definitely got worse,” Dier said at a press conference. “For me, it is a serious problem. I had some family and friends at the Chelsea away game with Tottenham (in August) and they had problems and stuff. Not nice ones either. It is a huge, huge problem. “My family would never go to an away game nowadays because of it and that’s a shame that I feel too uncomfortable for them to go to away games. Chief Constable Mark Roberts, the National Police Chiefs’ Council lead for football policing, said on Thursday: “Disorder is a problem that has not gone away, and throughout the whole of last season we saw an increase in crime at football matches across the country — from the Premier League right down to the National League. “Following constructive talks with the Premier League, EFL and FA we are keen to support our partners in delivering their proposals — including the introduction of stadium bans for people who enter the pitch, as well as those who use pyrotechnics. “The statistics released today show a worrying rise in these crimes, which are both extremely dangerous for players, staff and fellow fans alike. As well as being banned, anyone who commits these offences should also expect to be prosecuted by the police. “We know that drug use, along with alcohol, is one of the key factors which leads to disorderly behaviour, and we are pleased that the government is adding Class A drugs offences to the banning order legislation. This will provide police with another option to tackle criminal and anti-social behaviour by those who are under the influence of drugs. “Anyone who commits a criminal offence either outside or inside a football ground can expect to face the consequences of their actions. “The increase in arrests and football banning orders demonstrates that the police are taking positive action to tackle the problems, working closely with the Crown Prosecution Service. “We collectively need to make football a safe environment for the overwhelming majority of supporters who just want to enjoy the game.” Public disorder, pyrotechnics and pitch invasions — key statistics 516 new banning orders were issued in 2021-22 The most common football-related arrest offence types were public disorder (36%), violent disorder (20%), and pitch incursion (14%) The football-related arrest rate in the 2021 to 2022 football season was 5.2 arrests per 100,000 attendees, the highest rate seen over the period that arrest rates have been published (2014-15) The most commonly reported types of incident involved pyrotechnics (at 729 matches) and throwing missiles (at 561 matches)
No mate, the dinner ladies are going to buy our club and show us how it should be run Actually, no, they’re probably not going to. They’re going to just criticise everything whilst “supporting “
Good point, just been in Spain for a while and got talking to a shammer and he was so surprised Perkins left, very highly rated.
Saw him playing for West Ham first team and looked quality. Hopefully he’ll be patient and his attitude is spot on because he’ll be a top player.
