It does care. The war impacts them, both positive and negative ways. It's being economically impacted by this. On one hand it's getting cheap oil from Russia now but on the other hand it's hurting industry because it's companies don't want to come under sanctions from the west by dealing with Russia. China also had NATO being weakened in it's own best interests lest it find itself on the angry side of NATO in a few years. China is probably loving the free demonstration of the abilities of Russian and Western tech capabilities, it allows them to plan better for Taiwan in a few years.... And loving even more both countries sending so much resources from their own stockpiles to Ukraine. Edit:. Reading another article this am suggested that no matter how many people Russia calls up, they still have limited equipment, so many of these poor people are being sent to the front just to die unequipped and untrained.
How can you know that plenty of Russian people don't subscribe to Putin's war - you can only know what Western media tell's you, and unless you can speak Russian, the likelyhood of proving otherwise is extremely unlikely, especially as Russian media is now banned in the UK, by the British government, so much for that free press you speak of eh. Do you think that western media don't use propaganda as well, there were reports yesterday by SKY News of Russian protestors being arrested, as was quite rightly pointed out by a Russian spokes person in English, so do the UK not arrest protestors. Afterall we've seen a number of arrests of virtually harmless protestors during the Queens mourning days, just for holding up placards or for calling a certain individual a dirty old man. Funny how people choose to look at the world from one side of events.
Has anyone actually met a conscript before? Not a reserve, a conscripted soldier. They have national service here in Norway, I wouldn't trust them to lock a door, let alone hold a battle line. These lads they're sending will use resources, accomplish nothing and a lot will die. Ukraine are using men who have been fighting for years now.

He kinda made out like the operations in both Iraq and Afghanistan were an invading force designed to conquer both countries and hold them. But both operations were about regime change and the regime changed in both countries, much more long term in Iraq than Afghan. So, his narrative and the way he worded it don't reflect the reality of the situation tbh.
