I went to my first match of the season on Saturday against Peterborough and we won 3-2. The match next week is away and televised. Last season my first match was at Leicester and we won 3-2 and the match a week later was away and telivised. We then went on a run of winning 6 league games in a row ( and a fa cup match). Could it happen again? I also salute magpies and hate friday the 13ths and stuff. What are your superstitions?

i won't walk under a ladder, nor put keys on the table. I hate broken mirrors and we always buy a programme from the same seller (hmm, maybe we should change the last one ;)). I don't say the name of the Scottish play in the theatre and i don't whistle in dressing rooms.

During the season, I only use my WFC mug on matchdays after the game - usually to take my tablets at bedtime.

I sacrifice a goat before each game, and run around naked on Hampstead Heath, praying furiously to the Roman God of good luck and success - Felicitas - every fifth Thursday before a home game.

I know you're telling fibs BBW - Felicitas was a Goddess not a God. All the more reason, I suppose, for running around naked doing whatever it was you were doing to yourself - but a trifle risky on Hampstead Heath I would have thought. :)

I am told that some very strange things happen on Hampstead Heath.

    Maybe they are true!

Talking about goats back in the day, when we used to visit nice and exotic places like Nepal. On the day of the departure the locals used to sacrifice a goat at the front of the C130 as it was supposed bring luck. There is actually a photo of this on my trades website<yikes>

I have just hired an ex-Ghurkha who has just returned from the hot and sandy place.
We are all so looking forward to the goat curry.

A few of the security guards on the gates at corporate madness are Ghurkha's. A couple of years ago we had a couple of demonstrations from some eco-warrior tree-huggers outside - I hoped and prayed they were going to try and get through the traffic barriers!
