Wolves and West Ham face each other after the international break. Each side has currently scored less league goals than Scottish Argentinian Alexis Mac Allister. The match has been selected for live coverage by Sky Sports.
APPASK (The Association for the Protection and Preservation of Ankles, Shins & Kneecaps) are delighted to note the announcement today that Charlie Adam has retired
Even when he was at Liverpool, he looked like he was middle-aged. I still refuse to believe he is 36 years old. He must have been guilty of some horrible stuff in a previous life to be looking like that in his mid-30s.
Probably the same horrible stuff that he did in this life, the dirty bastard. Should've been sent off virtually every time that he played against us alone. Have to give him credit for scoring some good goals, though. This one in particular: He only looked about 50 there, too.
I wonder why r/soccer is full of stories of Conte joining Juve and Kane joining Bayern? Surely it can't be related to who we play after the international break...?
...but mainly because r/soccer is riddled with embittered Runners, Chavs, and Mancs who circlejerk each other with their mutual bitching about Tottenham
There's several to choose from, but I assume you mean this one: please log in to view this image Wasn't even given as a foul. Adam went on to score the opener in a 1-1 draw. Killed any small chance that we could've finished 4th that season. Bent ****s.
That’s the one. I was sat in the West stand lower that day and was just yards from this disgraceful challenge. Up until then I was reasonably ok with Ian Holloway, but he tried to defend Adam after the game and since then I have always thought Holloway is a twat.
For those kiddies who remember The golden voyage of Sinbad, the forces of darkness extract a heavy physical price for each act of evil you invoke them to do.
The one that nearly had me smashing the TV to pieces was the one he did for the Poool from behind against Bale in a pre-season game. Absolutely no need for it, and decisively showed Adams was a thug who would gladly put in potential season-ending tackles against his fellows.
