I see then that after absence of 927 days it looks like Pentland Hills will finally return to the track, on Friday, at Haydock Park (4.25). His last run was in the '20 Champion Hurdle. The excellent Sean Levey has been booked to rude. Peak rated 157 over hurdles Pentland Hills will run, on the Flat, on Friday off 70. Insert your own joke, at this point (if you wish), about it being rare for Lieutenant Henderson to run one on the level. So what do we reckon then team??? Will it be a quiet reintroduction for the 7YO or will Nicky have the taps fully turned on?!?
Oh and well I'm on quick point re today's racing. Have droned on and on about Laurel these past couple of months and I see she makes her 2nd racecourse appearance this evening (6.15 Kempton). An event I'm looking forward to. I see connections go here rather than the Listed affair at Newmarket on Friday. They are obviously opting to take things slowly re they old girl as her Group 1 entry for next weekend has also disappeared. At current quotes of 4/9 though she is most deffo not a bet, this evening, for a simple working man such as my good self.
