In the case of Dorries, it looks remarkably like a blatant attempt to hide a wealth of evidence that she's unfit for the Lords...

    Certainly not
    ...any ongoing conflict in Ukraine
    ...floods in Pakistan
...9m people being moved out of the path of a typhoon in Japan
    ...floods in Puerto Rico
...Liz Truss' Chief of Staff being interviewed by the FBI for bribing a Trumpist Senator

No where near as important as "family sad as 96 Yr old woman dies"
See pages 1-14 ; 16-33 with a blank page 15 to show respect

I thought p15 was screaming incoherently at one woman who was at the funeral...?

The funeral was obviously an excuse to bury bad news too
That’s why it went on for so f***ing long

So who do you think organised it so well at such short notice to bury bad news?

Don't forget Truss also lifting the cap on Bankers bonuses and then saying it's to help 'everyone'. Then being sidelined by Biden who despairs of her preference for trickle-down economics! <doh>

They just buried the bad news at the time.
It just happened to be a time of particularly bad news.
But nothing else matters when a hugely privileged 96 year old dies.

The list of Truss' campaign donors being released when the Queen was on her deathbed made that particularly odious obvious

It was rather convenient a BP donor funded it so well that she decided against any further windfall tax. No conflict of interest there obviously.
