Come on lads, are our memorys really that short? It is not long ago we had to debate against opposition fans who already had us guilty as charged re the "Faurlin saga". We also clinged to "alleged" and "innocent 'til proven guilty". Can't see whats wrong with them standing up for their captain. And to make it clear, i'm talking about this and other boards, NOT their disgusting chants.

I understand their "us agains the rest" mantality now that John Terry is under the cosh. We know nothing whether it's Anton whos made the allegations neither do we know if Terry has said what he's alleged to.
I'm looking forward to put this sorry mess behind us, either way.

By the way, just thought the Chelsea fans should read this article. I for one think Jim White is on to something, and if Chelsea ain't willing to look closer to home i believe their troubles will continue.

"And there is no question who the Chelsea fans blame for the current lapse. It isn’t Jose Bosingwa, now challenging Patrice Evra for the coveted title of full-back most likely to fall asleep during the course of a football match. It isn’t David Luiz, a defender so determined he should be playing further up the pitch that every time the ball comes anywhere near his own penalty area he gives a convincing case that he really should be stationed anywhere other than near it. And it isn’t Andres Villas-Boas, the manager who increasingly resembles Basil Fawlty in his frustrated pitch-side callisthenics.

No, it is apparently all down to Anton Ferdinand. The chants which everyone watching television and everyone in the stadium (apart from Villas-Boas) cannot have failed to hear last night suggested that the hapless QPR centre-back is entirely the source of all Chelsea’s current ills. It is his fault that the club captain was under investigation by the Metropolitan Police. It is his fault that John Terry’s until now pristine character was being publicly besmirched. It is his fault that the club was being so distracted by unproven claims and Twitter-sphere slander. And all part of a conspiracy to unseat Terry and gift the England captain’s armband to his brother.

Given that Ferdinand was the one allegedly abused in the incident, given that he did not make the complaint about Terry, apparently did not even hear the alleged comments and in any case has not yet made any public statement on the whole sorry business, it might be suggested such a response was a tad harsh. But still, it gives the fans someone outside the club on whom to heap responsibility for the temporary blip. Which is a lot more comfortable than focusing their worried gaze internally."

Good luck for the rest of the season to both clubs <ok>

You can still get 40-1 on Andre Villas Boas being first to get the tin tac..
but those odds are shortening fast..
i've just had a pony on it..
so i will be trousering a grand pretty soon..
and i will dedicate that win to John Terry..

Sad thing is that Terry will come out of this stronger. And antonio may well be the fall guy

Because he plays for qpr. Nah not really, i just don't like the whole way his approached the situation, it's been very sneaky and sly. Mainly down to Rio though i'm guessing.
The seriousness has completely been blown out of proportion aswell, if JT did say it how the video appears to show him saying it ( Not defending himself by saying i didn't call you a b.... c... but by actually saying it ) which i don't think it does, then i still don't agree JT meant it like it comes across, for example say you went to Egypt and you got kidnapped by a bunch of Egyptians and tortured then i'm sure if you got released you'd think they was Egyptian C...s and you'd say it in the heat of the moment.

As if anything you sang or didn't sing would make any difference to the mess this country's in.
