Tonight on twitter our local news reporter for the Leicester mercury thinks that they is a decent possibility Nigel Pearson could be on his way back He thinks its between Lee Clark and Nigel Nigel left after falling out with both Lee Hois and Milan Mandaric and both have since left the club. Im not saying its going to happen but he believes there is a good chance
Fascinating. Anyway, do you think he'll move Koren back into the middle against Wet Spam and try Evans out on the wing?
Does your resident Mystic Meg, i mean journo, do other party tricks? Can he predict the lottery results or read someones star signs? Ask him please, i'm Sagitarius, if that helps. On a serious note i'll believe when i see it. I try not to listen to the guff in the papers or get worked up by it. However, i thought your new chairman would want another household name to take the reigns so he could market you better in Asia.
Tried it with Sven. First we need to get in the prem. Nigel did a great job here first time round so maybe the owners have seen that and want him to come back
But he'd have to rebuild a team again, waste of time for him!! Interesting, allegedly some Leicester guy on twitter saying that an announced is due tomorrow and he thinks it might be Pearson or Clark. Personally I think that it'll be Iain Dowie
Some gimp called Ian Stringer has just posted on a Lester board that Roy Keane is due to hold talks with owners tomorrow morning. please log in to view this image
And I thought Iain Dowie would be bad for them Why on earth did Keane release Rosenior? He's only the best right back in the league
Most people do. But if he was really just in it solely for the money he would have stayed at Leicester (despite any fallout with the board) and not come here as we had no money at the time, had a stupidly small squad and a shoestring budget whereas Leicester had a good sized squad with decent finances. For Pearson it's about where he feels he's wanted. He has a great relationship with AP and the Allams and I doubt they'd accept any approach for him anyway. He won't be going anywhere. Unless a prem team comes for him.
Yeah i agree, there's obviously other factors with Pearson, as you've put in your post. Don't get me wrong, i'm very sceptacle about all this and won't believe it until it happens. I'm just saying money is a massive head turner in football these days.
I agree with you there. Money is a huge head turner. However we're in a good financial position and if we're still around the top 6 come January then NP will have his money to spend. We're nowhere near as poor as we're made out to be. In fact I'd dare say we have more money than most other championship clubs.
name one manager other than tommy docherty who left hull city and had more success after leaving. np wont get do better if he leaves.
