You could assemble that shower of ****e into as many shapes and positions as you like, but you'll be pissing against the wind just like every coach and manager that's tried so far lads.

If we keep shaping them into tenth place where we are it’s progress on the past with possible further improvement if we sign a couple in Jan

I wouldn't even read much into the league table yet mate, but yeah if they can turn this shower into a top 10 side come January I'll concede I believe in miracles and eat humble pie.

No, the bookies don't agree at all:

    Screenshot_20220919_120802.jpg

And I'm not sure you can say they're "flying" after 3 games.

With Bruno getting hopefully getting back into shape, and Wilson likely to play, we've got a good chance here.

At the moment, it suits us to have teams giving it a go. So we have a better chance in this as we’ve repeatedly shown we haven’t the talent to break down defensive treats but night nick a win by the odd goal as we did last season.

Burn can **** off with his comments an’all mind. Calling us deluded because we expect better vs B’mth? Read the room you lanky prick - don’t do a Bruce. I’d not play Burn unless there’s injuries. Bang average player.

I'm surprised at those odds and I anticipate they'll change over the next two weeks as everyone lumps on Fulham at such a generous price .

I'm sure weve had a similar conversation the last 6 games mind mate, so don't be shocked to see newcastle lose this one .

Fulham look much better than newcastle so far offensively and are at home full of positivity and confidence.

We've lost 1 game out of 7 this season, and that was with the last kick. And if you stretch that further, we've only lost 3 out of the last 15 league games... why the certainty that we'll lose?

Fulham have made a decent start, but they're still a newly promoted team, and definitely ain't a top half team, I think we'll start to see them drop back to lower mid table from now on.

Why did Botman not start the last game?

Howe said burn has better leadership qualities. Shame Howe prefers that over footballing ability.

No certainty but that's just what I see as likely... this nufc side isn't capable without wilson and max .

I don't see anything particularly great about newcastle it's all huff and puff which is great , but I'm not impressed a far that's all.

I'd make a case Burn and wood were Howe picks , so he's got to make one look upto it .

    Burn is OK tbh

Whatever the reason, to not pick Botman in one of the easier fixtures is stupid. Howe needs to get these idiotic things out of his head and fast.

Nah, Wilson was injured for pretty much the whole time we were good last season, and ASM is gmdoing well at thr moment but blows hot and cold.

Bruno just needs to be back to full fitness, then we'll see a big change; and when Bruno gets back on form, he'll help Joelinton get back to his best too.

We need to hover around the 10th spot until January and get in one or two players. Then we can have a shot.

I'd reenter negotiations with Watford and Leicester

Was cb really such an issue ? Have Newcastle really improved much for 220 million ?

The 35 on Botman and 25 on Wood seems like money they could have spent elsewhere If they're not good enough to get in a side this ****

The £25m spent on Wood is completely justified - took away Burnley's main striker and ensured they went down instead of us.

Botman still to show his best, too early o judge yet.

I am very concerned that ASM is becoming extremely injury prone and it’s probably because of his style of play.

The way he plays demands a lot of stress on his body, joints and tendons. He isn’t like a standard collect and pass player he has to use all of his body.

Then he gets twatted and he’s injured.

    Botman is the future mate.
    Wood is clart.

I think I am currently on the fence with this season. I can see us having issues.
