Well neither actually got us relegated, they just did their best to put us in an impossible situation and left someone else to take the blame. I'll go with McClaren even though I hate him, Kinnear was an utter embarrassment in both his roles with us.
Joelinton's the easy winner there, Tiote was awesome on his day, but too inconsistent and got constantly booked.
I think Joe had us mid table when he had his heart attack & in no real danger of going down. I agree with you on his director of ****all role though. As for McClaren... the less said the better.
16th apparently when he left, and at that point we were on the slide. Started OK with 4 wins and 4 draws from first 9, but didn't win a single game after that, and after Xmas the team was falling apart with results like the 1-5 at home to Liverpool were we were annihilated. Couple this with the swearing outburst to the press when he got here, the Nzogbia saga, him saying Given was going nowhere, him saying Owen was signing a new contract, him calling a ref a clown etc, and it was all just a big embarrassment. He took the job when no one else would, but he didn't do well.
