Yep..zero motivation. Body lingo was like a bloke who'd lost a tenner and found a quid....If Shots has lost the dressing room. He'd better find it quick.
I don't think it'll make much difference now. They'll be lining up a replacement and it'll be the first loss after that, if not before.
I don't know that he is. He's a coach, and a good one at that. Pennock however was exceptional and worked under how many managers since Silva? He just wanted to be a manager in his own right having served his time.
'"He:s better than he's showing, just being asked to do something he can't.." ??? A CB being asked to do what a CB does?
Rising 10 k every 30 appearances on a ridiculously long deal and stupid bonus package. It'll work out at about that if he performs to expectation.
No. He can head it and kick it, do the physical stuff. Not play tikki tacca on the edge of his own 18 yard box.
Ah OK. I know you have connections so I'll take your word. Not sure he'd ever have stayed once the PL came knocking, whatever the wage, and his agent wanted him out this year (as evidenced by the standoff 2 years ago) regardless.
Well, he couldn't before their 2nd goal! Sorry but I think you are looking for excuses for him for some reason. We've over rated him, i fear he's just not that good.
His track record in the championship is better than any of our other centre backs. He's clearly not gash - or as gash as against Swansea otherwise he'd have been playing in the Portugese third tier tier by now.
Some of the issues are purely down to player churn. Injuries/fitness and bedding new ones in. I'd still be supporting shota if we were losing narrowly and continuing to show the attacking promise of the early games. But you simply can't concede 2 1/2 average goals per game and expect anything but relegation. It's one thing allowing time for the team to gel, but they've still got to do the basics and they aren't.
