    In 2022, they've spent the 2nd most money on players in the entire world, I believe. They were only surpassed by Chelsea's mad spending at the end of the window.

    Despite all of that money, it's more exciting to be a Sunderland fan right now.

    Went into Asda Peterlee today and had my SAFC tracky top on, there was a lad in a scum shirt at the bottom of one aisle I was walking down that clocked my tracky top and just stared all the time I was in the aisle, not a subtle stare but a proper obvious staring

    Unless he had an unhealthy obsession with the red sauce and mayo bottles I was picking up?

    As has been alluded to, Everton have thrown money around like confetti and ended up worse off for it. The fact that the Maggots screamed the place down until they got their barbaric sugar daddy new owners makes it all the sweeter as it all unravels. As it stands they are still 10th like they were under Steve Bruce who spent relatively nowt. There is a word for people with money and no taste ....vulgarians. I think it sums them up nicely.
