I don't understand people sometimes. Just shut your ****ing mouth for 1 minute. You don't have to be an Uber royalist, just show respect for 60 seconds.

There's not even any point in booing. It's not a thoughtful protest, there's no profound point being made. It just makes "The people's club" Everton lose a bit of respect. I'd hope the club come out and condemn them.

 

Exactly, it doesn't take much for 60 seconds just to let people pay their respects. It won't have been all Everton fans but that video is pretty **** for the club and they need to call it out. That crap further up from Celtic does as well but **** them arseholes.

 

For what it's worth, this is my sons under 11 team paying their respects this morning in their first match of the season. Could hear a pin drop.

Grassroots footy is really good for this type of thing, we had our black armbands with poppy's on from memorial day but turned them inside out. All the matches I saw did a minutes silence and it was spot on from all of the teams and coaches.
