We needed a right winger and a central midfielder to ensure bad players are reserve at best.

Midfield trio should be Bruno, Joelinton plus one. Your sub is Willock and Anderson. Longstaff is just backup.

Attacking trio should be ASM, Isak plus one. Almiron , Wilson and, again, Anderson are your options here, Fraser, Wood, Murphy pure backup.

Two players pushes five out of the first team picture. It’s fairly obvious.

I agree with this now, however at the time I felt Diaby was the one we needed after a striker and would rather have blown a kings ransom on him than Maddison, now however I would like them both as I'm a proper greedy ****er that way <cheers>

Nothing is right with this team.... we had 65 million of the 200 on the bench yesterday and our two best fwd players are still Mike Ashley buys .

65 million on the bench ? Max injured he cost 16 million and half the fans were trying to chase him out all summer and this season so far yet now they're saying we we're missing him.

This is the problem the players are still **** in the main, but they'll go after the wrong players it's an nufc fan thing.... they're collectively similar to Graeme Souness.

Max is annoying as **** most the time. he's great to watch at times, but he constantly makes the wrong decisions. That being said. Yesterday was crying out for someone like him to give us an extra option. I don't understand why we never even thought to switch Miggy and Fraser when it was clear it wasn't working for either of them.

Miggy is like taking your dog to the park and letting it get a football. It will run and run with it but it hasn't got a ****ing clue what it wants to do or where it wants to go with it.

Max is absolutely essential because the other fwd players aren't good enough to lace his boots. The idea that our fans were clamouring to drop or sell him while suggesting the great Fraser is here I find absolutely astonishing, but it's nothing new.

Players like Maximin try difficult things and they don't and simply won't always come off... these players get labelled frustrating and inconsistent, but at least they win the club games every now and then .

****e like Murphy fraser longstaff etc aren't capable of doing anything special ever.. they'll never be good enough to frustrate.

We need wilson and max with isak because he's weak as piss and certainly not good enough to create everything on his own.... he's surrounded by absolute ****e .

This 100%. I said it yesterday during the game - I am still utterly mystified how our manager and his bench of coaches couldn't work this simple **** out.

Get ball, shift wide to Trippier/Targett, 'release" Almiron/Fraser, who checks back, momentum gone. Rinse and repeat for the entire match. Howe blaming his players hints at an arrogance he shouldn't have. Did well at B'mth, rubbish at Burnley, jobless then we took a punt. Did really well for half a season, started this season poorly, poor window and some glaring, repeating issues. Much more and there will be questions being asked of Eddie.

I think the patience people called for has been lost. We all knew rebuilding would take time especially if you want quality not quantity that is short term and hard to move on. The first team has clearly been improved massively but replacing the back ups will take much longer which we all knew. We also knew that tenth or just above that was the hope for this season as we gradually grow and staying out of the relegation battle which up to now we have.
Having only lost once in seven along with being robbed of several points why are people panicking about possibly losing both of our next two games? Nothing this season indicates that that will happen but it won’t be disastrous if we do.
There is another window in January to add a bit more.
I think we all agree with Roly that we would have liked to have signed a couple more at least but we are on the right track and none of us knows the circumstances.
Saying that players like Lashelles, Longstaff, Willock, Fraser, Miggy, Wood, Dummett, Ritchie and for some Shelvey should be nowhere near the pitch is stupid. Until we are able to get the quality back up these are what we have. Did anyone expect us to sign another 8? As long as they are here we should show that we are “the best supporters the world has ever had” and get behind them.
We simply are not top six yet and are not used to playing teams that play like we used to. It will take time and more signings to master that. Stop panicking and get behind them. It’s going ok and dare I say to plan so far.

Except where does the money come from?

Who would you have not bought that we did buy in the summer for the money to be available to buy the two players you wanted?

    It takes time.

Anyone can say get rid of him and him and him but somebody else needs to want them otherwise it’s costing a fortune which then the money is not there to buy the replacements.

Also anyone can say we should have got him and him and him but again where is the money coming from?

Don’t you think the Owners would like to win the PL this season? They have the money to do it. So why haven’t they tried to? Because of money restrictions and the fact something sustainable takes time, that’s why. That’s why I won’t be calling for the manager’s head when I can see we are making significant progress on and off the field. That’s why we can’t buy all the players we need immediately and that’s why we can’t just get rid of the likes of all of the Murphy types on day one.

Yeah I never even cared a **** about Everton, but I noticed they hated nufc fans and saw a poll in which they voted nufc the fans they hated the most just after pool... I then encountered Peej on here a few on twitter and a guy from work and since then I've really enjoyed watching them struggle..

It's weird because both clubs are similar in a sense of past glory.. Everton more so than newcastle, but in the trophy count nufc is 9th they're 8th....I would say they share similar frustration and hated the 90s when newcastle took a position they felt was more entitled to them.

Spoken like a true Greedy Six fan.

Are you seriously trying to suggest that we should be third in the League? Or that that was the quality of the squad or first team?

Howe over achieved massively last season. Just because he hasn’t massively over achieved this season does not make him a poor or under achieving manager.

I take it from your post that if Pep or Klopp had been at Bournemouth then Bournemouth would have been Champions? Howe took Bournemouth from the Fourth Division to the First and kept them there. With where you live you should realise what an achievement that is. The fact they didn’t have the resources to win the PL doesn’t make him a lower end of the table manager.

Also have to query what constitutes a “lower end of table” manager. He finished 9th, 12th and 14th in three of his seasons with Bournemouth in the PL. I would personally say they were mid table.

English still not your first language.

verb: infer; 3rd person present: infers; past tense: inferred; past participle: inferred; gerund or present participle: inferring
    1. deduce or conclude (something) from evidence and reasoning rather than from explicit statements.
"from these facts we can infer that crime has been increasing"

So you admit he never infered anything of the sort and you simply invented a false over dramatic claim to try and dismiss his opinion.
