We haven’t played 451 so we don’t know that either. And I do know 442 won’t work. 1 we don’t have the players for it as I stated in previous post. 2 it Eddie in charge not keegan 3 we’re not in the 90’s anymore. We’d have our arses torn apart through the middle by every team in the league
I think if that happens it’s a fair criticism. He isn’t bullet proof. He has goodwill and has done well. But if we don’t get a win in the next 3 the. We are a quarter of the season through with 1 win. Bruce got hammered for that.
Who's said this? I haven't seen anyone saying it... It appears that people are simply saying this squad is still weak and not enough was done in the summer to move the club fwd this season. I think they're right tbf.. We finished 11th

Look at the heat maps for Miggy and Fraser. They are in our own half significantly more than the opposition in most games.
Not accepting that based on the facts. The fact is the current formation is not getting us results. 4-3-3 or as I see it 4-5-1 and safe so we don’t win (safety first Howe) is hindering us because we can’t create chances.
Let's be honest it's unlikely Howe will be the guy that really takes the club into the higher echelons of football, but he's done a great job so far and has the opportunity to come up with something different at home. Newcastle have been found out.
It’s not. It’s a 4-3-3 with a deep lying cm in Bruno, a box to box in Joelinton and a really **** attacking midfielder in Pillock. miggy and Fraser playing as inverted forwards and Isak up top. mite all front foot and nothing is deep lyingbither than Bruno in the defensive phase
This time last season we would have taken your arm off to be thinking we had had a very safe average start and would finish mid table. That’s progress. We have dropped 2 points today but it’s only one game. If it was happening every game or regularly then that would be different. We may have spent £200M but it’s where you start from. Most of the buys have been good to very good but that ignores every other Club is also spending money. Bottom line is it takes time.

Miggy and Fraser might as well not be there because they can’t play in a 4-3-3 the way it’s meant by the work. It’s not a fully functioning 4-3-3 so for me and you can say what you like it’s a 4-5-1. Where we control possession deep. Man City okay 4-3-3 because they control the ball. Our two wide players run like Forrest Gump up and down the line like they are being chased from a tiger. There is an old saying: square pegs and round holes. We can’t play 4-3-3 with two **** wingers.
Fair enough: I accept what your saying. I am just a bit nervous that Howe is playing things a bit to safe. We have just dropped 2 points against a team I really expect to be relegated easy.
This isn't entirely true because the last time was under Steve Bruce and we had the best start in years only for fans to complain we weren't playing exciting football and would rather lose 4-3
I’ve no problem with that but the journey will be up and down and we have to realise that and acknowledge that we are just going to have poor games/results along the way.
I honestly haven't seen anyone saying that mate. There's nothing anyone can do it'll take years, but I think it's fair to say I don't think people expected to be seeing Longstaff, Fraser and Murphy every week for another season.
