Yes, Tielemans is simply running down his contract, Vardy is now 35 - he's past his best, they sold their keeper and captain and didn't replace him. Ward is not a good keeper, same level as McCarthy IMO. Maddison is the only player who is playing well for them right now.
And the fact that they basically spent no money in the summer doesn’t give any incoming manager much confidence that they’ll spend any in January.
Leicester's next five games are bigger than their seven so far. Forest (h), Bmouth (a), Palace (h), Leeds (h), Wolves (a). Struggle in those games, and they are in trouble.

Does anyone know what has happened to Bertie and Vestie at Leicester? I keep looking at the team sheets to see if they are playing a part in the defensive debacle, but neither seem to be getting in the matchday squad.
Bertrand seems to have been plagued by injuries. And even when he has been available, they've had so much competition for places at LB that he's way down the pecking order. I haven't seen huge amounts of Luke Thomas, but I've generally been impressed by what I have seen - and even he can't get in at LB this season.
Seeing as it’s probably going to be another season of intermittent frustration for us, I’m pinning these weekends hopes on Everton and West Ham to finish 0-0 with both teams contriving to finish with 9 men.
