A dreadful performance, but Bournemouth deserved the point they completely out thought and out fought newcastle. The fact is nufc are still having to rely on a core of dross, so I suppose sitting 10th having taken a point isn't a total disaster. We don't play any longball football and that I can respect, when we play in 3s short nippy passing you can see the training shine through. The thing is the other team allowed them to get into crossing positions because the other clubs have all noted newcastle cannot present a threat from it. Newcastle needed to go after it faster,, but they simply continued to **** about while the other club got into position.
