I like the idea if/when we change manager that we consider Dyche he would not come in unless he had a say on what players come in and he would play the players and formation he wanted to he would not let the hierarchy interfere, he is a decent manager and you know if he sends a team out on to the field it will show effort.
Its interesting isn't it.... we see clubs spending XX millions on players, when the proper bucks should be spent on a manager who gets the absolute best out of what he has to work with. Hull City have decided they want to be a club who nurtures players and then sell them to self sustain and grow, for that to happen the manager has to be 'the man'. On the subject of Dyche, not a snowball in hells chance. He'd look at the two portakabins at the 'academy' and say .... "..." I like the idea of hanging on for Steve Cooper as I'm sure he's under massive scrutiny...
Lets be honest, Acun is never going to sack Shota this season. He's said it a few times already that he's patient and its going to take time. Maybe its Acun's only mistake since taking us over is bringing in his friend, rather than hiring the best man for the job.
If that's the case I hope he has a plan to get us out of league 1, and he built it into his timescale for realising his "dream"
Baz write up was fairly damning. Can't think he'd be using phrases like 'on the brink' if he thought Acun wasn't going to sack his mate. Shota himself will know that conceding 2+ goals a game for what is now an extended run of games isn't going to lead to job security.
His only mistake? The silly **** has pushed all these ****ing attacking players from turkey like a demented shark sports on his fifa game It’s fuxking hopeless trying to fit them all in Sean dyche would **** fatty Tufan off straight away
Mrs came to the Sheffield game the other week. She thought "Ozan Tufan" chant was "You're fat, too fat". Apt.
How long is too long? How long before first Acun's play-off dream and then his top 10 dream fade into oblivion? Maybe the players don't like Shota - maybe they are trying to throw him under the bus - they don't seem to have been trying anything else recently. Yes there's plenty of time left this season -but we are million miles from being play off contenders at the moment
You are forgetting the embarrassment factor. He has a plane and a boat with city logos. He has major sponsors from an airline and an up and coming beer company. They will not want to be associated to a relegation side. Plus the owner has stated ambitions to have a premiership side. Acun can either lose face and his media image collapses or he gets someone to deliver
Tufan just stood and watched when they had the ball. Maybe a gentle jog here and there ,but no real closing down. Seri wasn't much better. Both great with the ball mind
Just what I said after the Stoke game - playing both of them is a luxury we cannot afford at the moment
Still want to give him a chance but do think his time is up... Hard decision for Acun to sack his mate though, he didn't look impressed today and heard he left early too. I imagine they'll be looking at there options of his replacement before getting rid though
The telling sign was that Tan and Mert were with him and they didn't look impressed either. It's not Acun who will be doing the sacking, it's Tan.
