The home form has generally been ok so hopefully that will hold up .

But you feel we must score first.

Good to see Hause , Davis and Asprilla in.

Hopefully WTE will take his chance .

Watford: Bachmann; Cathcart, Troost-Ekong, Hause; Kamara, Kayembe, Asprilla, Choudhury, Sema; Davis, Pedro. Subs: Okoye, Gosling, Bayo, Kabasele, Kalu, Sierralta, Hungbo

Quite a shake up, but not sure it is any better on paper.

Especially if it's still three at the back.

Midfield could be a bit crowded...

If I remember back into the past, didn't GT have a spell where he played with three centre halves? It was thought to be quite novel at the time. I think he still kept two full backs, but they had more freedom to go up the wings.

Looks warm and sunny down there - unlike here where I have central heating fired up...

Lots of empty seats on view...

At least we've had a shot at goal already - even if Pedro was offside anyway.

We're actually troubling the Sunderland defence a lot...

What a peach of a pass by Asprilla - and Davis slots home

    Nice by us.

But usual scrappy defensive play gives them a goal .

Bloody goalline technology - that looked to have been cleared by Choudhury.

    Probably a deserved equaliser though

It looked cleared to me. Can anyone confirm it went over?

A system that sees Joao Pedro so desperate to get the ball he goes behind Cathcart to the full back position, isn't working. Our goal was individual initiative. Edwards was waving our players up he pitch as we played the ball across our bak three, but unconcerned Davis was struggling to break through their midfield and defence with no support.
If this looks fair as a scoreline, that's because we are making a very pedestrian side look half decent.

Goal line technology did - apparently.
