Stick Coyle in the midfield and Christie to full back. It's not ideal, but the softness is reduced significantly

Not only could he give inspirational team talks he was also a great singer. At least it was worth listening to his media interviews even if most of it was bullxxxx.

Anyone got the odds on the next manager yet?

Alternative scenario, Shota keeps offering his resignation, Acun, who can't find a replacement, keeps persuading him to stay on?

Get rid of Shota, let Andy Dawson take over until Acun can source a really good manager, even if he has to poach one, or get Warnock in, sorry.

Naa we were pretty ruthless in the summer, I expect us to continue to be.

It's more intriguing to see who we go for next. Lower league managers are a risk if you're a hurry for success, the obvious candidates are the likes mentioned; Dyche, Allardyce etc but I'm sure they'd be happy to pay good compensation for the right gaffer so we might look for someone in a job.

I suspect the next gaffer has already been sounded out

If Middlesbrough win today we are in the bottom 3. Hardly good news for the sponsors and embarrassing for the owner

Does it matter? We're currently 21st, that's bad enough

You cannot play both Tufan and Pelkas in the same team, they are like ballet dancers, great technically but not robust enough for this league. One of them you can manage at a number 10, but 2 just leaves us short in midfield. We need a tough defensive midfielder who can do the dirty work, and let Seri operate effectively. We desperately need a Faye type centre half, who can defend, Figgy is way below what I expected when he came. The midfield like last season is still where the problem is, we are just not able to control games.

Yeh this is an interesting one. On the one hand you have his friend managing so naturally you would expect him to give him more time then others would get, but on the other hand you have sponsors and pretty much the whole of Turkey watching you fail/succeed which Im sure brings its own pressure.

If Fig is doing as badly as everyone thinks then he must be taken out of the firing line. He will not improve as a player at his age but mistakes are costing us and he needs resting. We have two perfectly good replacements who can slot in. We have signed some real talent but the ball winning midfielder has not arrived. We will need to get him in January now. Injuries have been crap and not Shota’s fault but he looks like a lost soul now and his selections a bit bizarre. I like three centre halves when you have good wing backs but we don’t have those. 4. 4. 2 now, tighten up and press. Forget the score 6 and concede 5 philosophy. It’s not working.

One of the issues is no leadership on the pitch. Coyle does not have it. We need a proper leader on the pitch from the free agents. Any suggestions?
