Hope we get someone who knows the football league if shota does go Dyche obviously Parker Allardyce Adkins All without clubs Big fan of McKenna and have a soft spot for the cowleys in league 1
I don't like jumping on the effort bandwagon, I don't think there are many occasions when players go out there not to give everything. The set up today was just completely off and it has been recently too. We got away with not creating anything last year as the players weren't great, but this year, to have one shot on target when the midfield is full of creators is just baffling
I said this on Tuesday evening and it would suit the PR machine... I'd go fort Nuno de Santos ex Wolves... big wages but he has been there and got the t shirt...
I think it's important not to be too harsh on individuals and write players off just now. When you're in a rut and your luck is down then these silly mistakes will happen more often, doesn't make them bad players. Some fresh ideas and motivation could see very different performances from the same players.
Figueiredo must be on a contract that guarantees games. That is the only explanation why he keeps starting. Surely Shota cannot start him in the next game?? I would respect Acun if he didn’t sack Shota yet though, and gave him until the international break. We do have a good run of games now where we ‘should’ get points. I’m hoping he can turn this around. But that was dire. And now I’m no longer hopeful!
Are you on drugs. The Humber prem is what, tier 10. And that's basically the equivalent to top of league 2. The standard is outrageous. You absolutely do need to be bothered to look that far to qualify your point.
If he wants promotion, Parker, Dyche, Allardyce, hell, even pay WBA for Steve Bruce (might get a Leicester with Pearson situation where they're happy to let him go). Paul Warne is a good shout, Steven Schumacher at Plymouth is doing a great job with a very small budget and Ritchie Wellens at Leyton Orient has them playing very good football, albeit at a lower level.
I agree and dont 1 More.... when these players came here, they knew who the manager was. My question to you might be, if you were offered a new job would you not want to be comfortable with who you working for or under...
Give him 10 games or the season, he can’t get this team playing, he comes across as a nice guy, but he’s nowhere near a manager, by any stretch of the imagination.
Well he had today to prove he was the man, hence the changes in formation and personnel, but this performance will probably have screwed on his coffin lid. 95% sure there'll be a new man in charge for the home game against Luton, will want the international break to get to know the squad.
Right now, mediocrity, survival, getting results is 100% better than capitulation & a relegation battle.
What's the worst that can happen. He's entitled to a free transfer? We pay off the remainder of his contract? I'll take that that risk.
