There's no need to panic, we're only 3 points off the playoffs as it stands. That can only go to 6 points today so as long as we make changes or see an improvement quickly, we can still have a good season
He’s the type of player you bring in to finish a project taking you that next step, not start it off.
That's exactly why the change should happen now imo. It's early enough to make a huge difference to the season and with the right man in we could still challenge. Sticking with what we have now and season is over at best and at worst we are in a relegation battle
I agree we have players in this side who will play better with better teams, teams who have the right mixture of battlers but unfortunately these are trying to battle but it’s not their game. Like I said earlier ,teams go through us as though it’s a training session. We just don’t have the right balance. The stupid thing is we have some good players here and a couple of organisers with that aggressive attitude would make a huge difference. At the moment the players on the pitch are just accepting defeat it’s embarrassing.
Genuinely expected us to lose heavily today, as every team in this division, even those near the bottom, must have a better plan of how they want to play, be better coached, be more physical and know what this division is about. While Acun is doing great things off the pitch he has to take some responsibility as he recruited the manager and the players. Very noticeable that the ones who put in most effort today were those who predate this manager - Baxter, Coyle, Elder(best player by a mile) Greaves and Slater. Obviously Figs was awful (again) but so too was Seri. Just awful.
I'd make the change too. It's just been a weird season so far even since pre season. We had a 433 gaffer, who brought players in the play 433 but kept talking about playing a back 5. Did that all pre season then switched to a 4, then back to a 5, and then back to a 4 again. No idea who I'd go for, I'd have a real stab at Dyche but he'll be holding out for a Prem move.
I'm almost certain Dyche won't come to us. He knows full well he'll be in demand when the premiership manager Meri go round starts
I just read the league table. I would make the switch now and it's not unconceivable to think we could be in the top half when the World Cup starts.
Don’t know if you are serious or not but it’s f*****n true , too slow and short to get to any loose or under-hit balls , they can’t ‘win’ a ball between them . I’d like to see us use the passing skills I think we have but we have to win the ball enough - lastly we attack way too slowly to pressure teams !!! and my golf was crap too !!!
