We had a horrendous 20 mins early on where they had two great chances. Apart from that (and I don’t say it lightly because it was awful) it’s been pretty even. Or them probably being slightly on top. You can see we’ve got the talent there but there’s just no patterns of play or what looks like a plan.

We certainly improved as the half went on, but Pelkas and Vale have barely had a touch, we need to get them into the game more.

Weird half, we're so sloppy in possession. It's like every ball has to be a goal scoring pass. We're forcing it instead of just being a little safe and keeping the ball.

I've no clue what's happened to Fig but he's woeful, thankfully Greaves has had a decent half

And Tufan needs to be played deeper. He's not a no.10

Even with one of our best possible lineups we're still so easy to play against.

We know what we lack and having a fully fit squad wouldn't change that. It's a centre half and a defensive midfielder that we're crying out for.

This is the downside of trying to change a full squad in 1 transfer window. You're going to be left with holes.

It's a game ripe for the nicking this.

Let's do 'em by a couple of well worked goals but otherwise leave them thinking 'how the **** did we lose that'?

We are so passive it's unreal.

I echo some points, seri does not look interested at all.

We’re an extremely unbalanced side that has flashes of brilliance but almost zero cohesion. Yes, it’s a new squad but sometimes it looks like strangers who’ve never met before attempting to play football. I will keep mentioning the lack of a tough defensive midfielder because it’s our biggest weakness imo and will **** us over all season. The midfield which is starting today is our best midfield on paper and it’s weak as piss.

I think I would bring on Docherty for either Tufan or Pelkas as we need some energy in midfield.

Although I proper ball winner would help, I honestly think with a fresh outlook and different type of coach we could operate sufficiently enough for now with what we have.

We don’t hold onto or keep the ball long enough, have we got a more physical midfielder to knit the defence and midfield together? No but that’s down to the manager. Even when the injuries return I don’t think we have that type of player. We need someone in there to do the ugly work, let the other side know we ain’t soft.To me our midfield which is very talented but play like it’s training session.

Such a poor first half display that. We just look so lackadaisical all over the park with little or no real game plan and worst of all we cannot keep the ball going forwards and/or give it away when we do.
