Tell you what. ****ing hell of a save. Back 4 all over the shop tho, both full backs behind the CBS playing him inside then
We wanted it tighter at the back, it certainly is. Got lucky with a couple of chances but we've contained them pretty well. Fair play to Shota for making the change.
seri isn't an off the ball type player. a bit like cairney a luxury unless you have people around him doing the hard work. but if you've got that they are match winners. at this level. ive only seen the last ten mins and we haven't looked as bad as the comments portray our earlier form
Swansea have prob had better chances in this 45 than stoke did in the first half on tues, difference is the finishing.
We've got better as the half has gone on. Need to see more from the wide men though, Vale and Pelkas have barely had a touch between them.
So what have we learnt form that 45.... 1. My toilet paper is stronger then our midfield... 2. A back 4 is just as bad as a back 5. 3. Seri to my eyes DOES NOT want to be here.. ditto Tufan 4. Every player looks despondent and wishing they had chosen alternative careers... 5. Theres no back slapping encouraging each other to be better.. 6. Harvey Vale only has one foot... 7. The supporters (big up to every one of you) are rehearsing "we've got Arveladze, but not for long"
This could’ve been another 3 goals conceded were it not for Baxter and the woodwork. Figueiredo and Coyle have been utter dross. Constantly playing their players onside. Slater’s having a poor game and Seri and Tufan are passengers off the ball.
A bit fortunate to be level, though Baxter showed his class. We have looked better as the half wore on, but need to keep the ball better.
Tufan does very little off the ball. It looks to me like slater is the only midfielder who is giving 100%.
