I do prefer one left-footed and one right-footed, but I do agree Figgy has been poor and not as commanding as I expected him to be. Whether having 2 left footers in would help I am not so sure.
You don’t get a decent pint in a Wetherspoons, get what you pay for. Better off drinking lemonade. It’s a bit like saving £1.50 by not having Lurpak. Might as well not bother.
Vale's an interesting choice and a definite throw of the dice by a worried man. Here's hoping it comes off and he's the worldy that some have already earmarked him as.
Breakfast for around 8 quid with bottomless tea or coffee. Waitress service. Telly. Or has that level of Spooniness not reached lil old Hull yet?
He plays some delightful long balls, but he's just so slow. When we're attempting to play an expansive style with a back 3, you really need the centre backs to have speed. I found it really interesting that Shota brought Christie on against Stoke at RCB. That would probably be the way forward if we wanted to play with a back 3 with an Allahyar at wing back on one side and Fleming/Sinik on the left. Thankfully we've moved to a back 4 today though
From what I've heard if we lose and it another poor performance then the pressure is really on. Acun what's us to be attractive which he thinks will bring the crowds in
It's certainly not close to the end. He did this last season though when he came in, he took a few games to figure it out and kept trying new things. And to his credit, he did. Nobody can ever say he doesn't change or is too rigid.
This lineup intrigues me. Think I'd have dropped Coyle for Christie though. But, yeh I'm intrigued. Better Shota!
Ignore....found it, stupid guide was saying Scottish footy rather than city match but now listening to the footballing magician that is McLean. V happy with the team and formation, feels like last yr when McCann finally flipped to 3 at the back ...fingers crossed for the same result!
Yep, pressure definitely on him from above. But to his credit, at least he's changing things, which is not what his predecessor did when we went down. Our line up today looks solid, hopefully Vale takes his chance and I think Pelkas will do much better in that number 10 role.
That's 10 league games which a lot of people said they would judge him after if we only have 11 points that isn't really good enough
