A song just came on the radio.
I was gonna start a thread on songs that remind you of times or pull at your heart strings.
But this thread was available. :D

Rod Stewart, bit of a nancy bellend but this dragged me back to a wonderful time of my childhood in South Shields. The jewel in the crown of the North East. <cracker> <laugh>

    Happy days.

Reminds me of my grandad who had a fishing boat and went out on the North sea.
It's a song that I heard and liked, and whenever it gets played, takes me right back :emoticon-0148-yes:

How old was your son and what was his name chunk ?
Me dad died last year, I played this at his funeral.

Also this, which was my mam and dads song and reminds me of Shields. Played at my mams funeral too so a real poignant one.

18th September 1970, Black Sabbath released their second album, Paranoid.
The band that launched a whole genre of music, and my favourite band, ever!.
    Paranoid, 52 years old today.
Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, Bill....thank you, and Happy Birthday, Paranoid.
