We do appear to have left our squad very light in central midfield. Which seems to be the case every year Not sure why AMN didn’t even make the squad. Is his off the ball work so far off that he can’t even make the bench? Slightly concerning if so
There has been a lot wrong with how we have played this half but the number of times we have conceded possession through a poor touch or complacency is really pissing me off. I would send on Stuart, Aribo and Fandab to hopefully give us 3 advanced midfield players who can hold on to the ball long enough for us to build an attack or two, instead of continuing with the backward passing of the first half. I think the lizard knew what was coming because when I picked up a container to catch it in, it hid behind the sofa.
We’re playing last seasons team with a better CB and GK and a worse CM and that’s exactly what I’d expect this to look like we need Stu and Aribo on and Moi and Diallo off we have no idea what we’re doing when we have the ball
Initial thoughts proven correct with that lineup. Toothless and looking a bit clueless out there. Stu on for Djenepo, Aribo for Ely, go 4222 with Adarma up front with Adams.
