Probably put all their resources into cyber war over the last couple of decades, they forgot about tech on armaments. Made me wonder what the Chinese firepower is like. I think they've got both sussed probably. Fully loaded and all modern Huawei tech led.
Very clever move by Ukraine. They know winter is coming and once the heavy snow and deep mud comes, nobody is making any gains. I imagine it's not too far away with the timing of this offensive.
My dog has cornered a rat on a couple of occasions and the rats just rolled over and died. Not as dangerous as you think.
Putin praises China for not getting involved in Ukraine war but admits China has "questions and concerns about the war". I'm sure China probably are concerned with how long it's taking Russia and they're not stupid, they're learning from Russia's mistakes. When China takes Taiwan, it won't dilly dally around like Russia did. It's going to go in full hog and get it over with immediately. Russia's biggest mistakes is they thought they could conquer Ukraine with minimal use of force... And time usually favours the invaded rather than the invader. No doubt China won't be as foolish when they take Taiwan.
Comparing the Ukraine to Taiwan is pretty dumb, I know you are a thick American now, but even you are stretching their thickness to new limits. Go have a look at the difference in land mass, I know Americans struggle with maps, but we have google to help you these days.

It's interesting seeing the tensions begin to build up between Russia and China again. They have a habit of building and then burning bridges with each other. The difference this time compared to past historical occasions is China holds all the power in the relationship this time. Putin's having to play very deferential with the Chinese for a while.
Germany seized three Russian owned oil refineries to help secure energy for the winter today. I'm sure that won't go down well with the Russians and we'll probably be hearing vague threats about nuclear strikes by the end of the day like we normally do when Russia doesn't get it's way.
So who’d volunteer to fight the Russians (and inevitably the Chinese) if it all kicks off then? Be interesting to see if all the hard man yoof who carry knives would step up, obviously they wouldn’t given that the vast majority of them are 8 stone wet through and couldn’t make it to the end of their street without needing a vape.
They just need to put me in control of the buttons, I'll sort it, no pissing about, Moscow would no longer exist, neither would the UK, but hey there has to be collateral.
