Reading left something on our player in just about every tackle they made.

Anybody admitting to being in triple figures yet watching that 3rd goal?

It's easier to defend a cross into the box, balls down the channels and wingers trying to go past the wing back/full back ...

... but even if Reading knew what we were attempting, that third goal is difficult to stop.

I was primarily a defender, in Sunday League, and absolutely hated one touch players with pace. I won 80% of headers and most tackles but couldn't cope with the type of players Sunderland currently have.

Can't wait for tomorrow, hope we see the same type of play even if we eventually lose ...

... I've seen enough hoofball to last a lifetime.

I've been in the Boondocks most of the week, and couldn't even get the score on Wednesday night until about 11pm.

But I've watched the highlights today, and for once highlight is the right word. That was some display, and the third goal was ridiculous really. They won't often go in when that sort of move is attempted, but just trying it upsets teams. It's awful to play against.

Great start. Better than I'd hoped, never mind the injuries.

First two goals from the Reading end.
A young bairn recording, and he explains at the end why he didn't get the third goal.
