I hardly ever saw this show (Brush Strokes), so don't really have an opinion on it but the theme was fabulous... ...apparently Karl Howman and Kevin Rowland were mates.
I saved up for months to get a Budgie jacket from Charlie's stall in Watford market , maroon and black with a collar so big that you could take off in high winds teamed up with some channel seamed flair and a pair of stacked heel shoes , I was the dogs age 13
Early Doors , created by Craig Cash , brilliant understated show .......To The Regiment Theme tune by Roddy Frame
With Porridge. possibly my favourite sitcoms across the whole piece. Genius writing and an incredible cast, especially in the lesser characters. Geoffrey Palmer as Jimmy was sublime, as was John Horsley as Doc Morrissey.
