So Melo only has six weeks of football (October 1 til the World cup) to convince us not to get rid in January. But presumably if we get rid, it would be because we're bringing someone else hopefully better in. So not too much of a worry for us.

Just hope he trains well for the rest of the month and provides us with a genuine option for the autumn.

    Ford is a friggin' mess.

Trying to put in a factory order for a Maverick and they keep pushing back the order date later and later.

Well, we finally have caught up with the order date. Can officially order a '23 Maverick now, but the prices aren't available yet and neither are the official order options.

No wonder the American car makers keep losing money. <laugh>

Add to that, the page on Ford's website for the '23 Maverick shows a picture of one in a discontinued colour. Order banks only predicted to be open a few days because they still have thousands of '22 models they never completed before the lines closed down... Those orders are all being rolled over to '23 models.

Bloody Ford. I've been waiting all year for the order banks to open up again and now I have to choose between ordering without knowing price, or missing out until next year.

Why are you acting like a yank and buying yank anyway. Why not buy a filthy foreign car and drive it round wearing a turban to scare your neighbours

Look, it's clear juve play games with players and force them completely out of the squad scene and don't put them through preseason to make them saleable.

    But...

The guy clearly hasn't put in the yards himself and he should know by now or at least with agent advice know how to stay relatively fit to get a good deal elsewhere.

He looks overweight, which is a cardinal sin in Italy. I would say he will be lucky get 30mins for us by the world Cup and that's off just 20mins v napoli

I drive a Honda now. If I don't get the Maverick I'll get another Honda.

The Maverick is a "compact" Hybrid Truck with over 40mpg for under $20k (or was initially, will be more than that this model year no doubt). Can't beat that. There's only one other "compact" truck on the market and it only gets about 22mpg. (It's only small compared to other trucks/SUVs... As long as a family sedan)

With over 14 acres a truck would come in very handy now. Plus good for throwing my wet gear in the bed when kayaking.... Actually, wish I had a truck now converting a shed into an outdoor office and it's a pain trying to get wood and drywall into my little Honda Fit. (Similar to the Jazz in Euro market)

Now there's finally a cheap fuel efficient "small" truck on the market, its the best option for me.

Seen/heard strong rumours of Tielemans today. Seriously can't see us signing a player that's holding a club to ransom

    this one is a shocker.

just goes to show how reporting tone and message can shape narratives.

we are literally living through a live demonstration of how propaganda can make people lose their minds totally.

Anyone else wondering exactly why they have not made the queues inside Westminster Hall 4 abreast at least past the area in question?

They seem to be allowing people wander in single file and stop and do whatever nods or what they like.

Surely a more efficient way is to say OK, you want to go but here's what's happening.

One lane for the infirm, you need a pass with Id from whatever services confirm.

One lane further back from that and two more on the other side and you say you will move past, look to the side but do not pause.

I'm pretty sure that queue time could be easily halved if they wanted to.

Pretty sure having it be extremely long and onerous is actually the prefect message they want to portray.

On the other hand I'm pretty sure they thing its easier spot the nutter with less people in there

Really ****ing sick and tired of this at this point, I can get the need for more and more security as the great and good arrive as they want to point out the 100 heads of state but I'm pretty sure leicester and feeling hard done by right now lol.

The sooner this is over the sooner we can get back to the absolutely.massive crisis that's being totally ignored.

The coffin is closed right? Only way I'd stay in line for hours is if the coffin is open and they've embedded servo motors so she can move around.
